I’ve been a Graphic Designer, Art Director and Creative Director in one form or another for over 20 years. My philosophy is simple—leverage my artistic talent, creative vision, boundless passion, and acute business acumen to develop killer creative that both represents and reflects my clients’ brand in the most innovative and powerful way imaginable. I believe my job is to articulate raw ideas, transforming and amplifying them into wildly successful marketing or advertising campaigns. My clients tell me they value my ability to always understand the bigger picture while at the same time never losing sight of the details and their ultimate goals.

 

What does that mean to me? That as important as the artistic considerations may be, your message and helping you attain your ultimate goals is far more important.

 

Many years ago, I started a boutique design and advertising shop. It was incredibly successful and grew so fast I found myself spending more time on operations and logistics than the hands-on creative. I love what I do best, and missed it. So, I closed the agency and started a new boutique shop. I am the now driving force behind all of the creative and the strategic planning for my clients, and I have an ensemble of talented people (illustrators, writers, programmers, project managers, etc.) that I bring into a project to round out the team based on the needs of the project.

My strong understanding of interactive design, user-centered experience development, brand improvement, and digital marketing strategies and implementation have helped me create a strong and supportive design shop that listens to and caters to the needs of its clientele.

 

I earned my BA in Advertising and Design from the University of Maryland, and have won an ADDY, and received awards from and hold memberships in Art Directors Club, Production Club of America, and the Printing Industries of America.
